Another word in use for prostitute was Fich or Viech ,
 "Sie ist ein letztes Vich "
  Maybe from Vieh -livestock.
 "Letzt" which usually means last had a connotation of mischief ,evil.

Amazing, It all started with "chonte" and finished with meals. How you got
from one to the other surprises me. It has NOTHING to do with food!!!!
I don't know the root of the word, doubt you'll find it in Wikipedia but it
was used in a most derogative way. Anyone who wasn't up to par in "society"
like, mistress - lover was, of course, a Chonte.
