Re: [Cz-L] Max Ritter von Anhauch.

There must have been several known Anhauchs in Strojinetz and Czernowitz. I grew up
in a house in Russische Gasse which my parents and the older Generation called
"Dr. Anhauchs Haus". A niece if this Dr. Anhauch, Antonia Zappler, was a young widow
and a close friend of my grandmother in Strojinetz. 1941 they have been deported together
from Strojinetz to Siberia and returned together to Czernowitz. Since that time Antonia,
for me Tante Toni, was living with my grandparents and my parents until her death 1973.

1949 my family was offered an apartment in Dr. Anhauchs Haus, so Tante Toni finally spent
the rest of her life in the house of her uncle.
