Interesting, this photograph of the Red Army
entering Czernowitz in 1940.
They came in horse-drawn carts, that is how well prepared
they were for another world war.
In March 1944, after almost four years of war, they came in lorries,
probably provided by the United States.

I do not have a photograph of the event, but do remember it,
quite clearly.
