Thank you Hardy I couldn't have said it better. Just to add in a nutshell a
few historical facts. Beside the the Khazar ruler there was also a Yemenite
queen that adopted the Jewish religion. The ancient (original?) Jews, their
kings, their prophets (Moses himself), didn't attach much importance to the
genetic origin of their spouses. On the other hand Jesus, his apostles, were
100% Jews. Till around 300 a.d every man who wanted to join the early
Christians had to be circumcised.
