When I lived in Cz. there were no cars. I can't remember a taxi only
Vieackers (spelling wrong). I remember horses beautifully decorated
hoses with ribbons, maybe a harness of bells?, the bride and groom sitting
in it, like the Queen a week ago, looking very grand. My dream, then 13,
was to ride in it one day? I still prefer a horse drawn carriage to all
these long, useless, show off cars but this might be the dream of a poor
middle class working family, as Ruth wrote "a once in a lifetime trip" to
what they all hope is a once in a lifetime event. Who can tell.
Yes Hardy, we do live in Shangri La, our memories are thus.
