I have just had a post exchange on the long limos.
If our elders would have liked them or not.
  Completely hypothetical.
Like asking if you had a sister , would she like cheese.
Technical problem: These limos, as long as a bus,
have a turning radius of 20 m or more.
     Completely useless in the Judenstadt.
A Kale from the Ankergasse must first get a taxi
or a Fiaker to a main artery

When I lived in Cz. there were no cars. I can't remember a taxi only =
Vieackers (spelling wrong). I remember horses beautifully decorated =
hoses with ribbons, maybe a harness of bells?, the bride and groom =
sitting in it, like the Queen a week ago, looking very grand. My dream, =
then 13, was to ride in it one day? I still prefer a horse drawn =
carriage to all these long, useless, show off cars but this might be the =
dream of a poor middle class working family, as Ruth wrote "a once in a =
lifetime trip" to what they all hope is a once in a lifetime event. Who =
can tell.
Yes Hardy, we do live in Shangri La, our memories are thus.

Czernowitzers would have said: "Hochstapler"! "Nur die Madam =
Polack!"
And: "Zewus daff men duss"? "Vel'n zey oich shluffen in der =
taradaika"?

    Czernowitzers would have said:
"Hochstapler!" (impostor, pretender) "Nur die Madam Polack" (only =
the madam
    Polack, a fictitious newly

And: "Zewus daff men duss"? "Vel'n zey oich shluffen in der =
taradaika"?
( what does one need this for? Are they going to sleep in this =
vehicle?)
