Schilgass , Synagogengasse, Wilson strada, Barbusse vulitza,
No matter how you call it , no other street was as jewish as this.
You could smell it.
The rich jews would avoid it . Except when coming to visit their
old. And then preferably in the evenings.
So nobody would see.
But all had connections to this place.
They came from here and remember.
When speaking to their elders they spoke in Yiddish.
The deserted house stands as a memorial.
The main water pipe valve is also here.
The soil is holy but the water is not drinkable.
