Dear All,
I am previous volunteer in Chernivtsi who worked for Svit-Ukraine, also during organized workcamps on Jewish cemetery.
In this year (5-22 of August 2012) besides workcamp on cemetery Svit organizes a youth exchange, which aim is to create a theater performance on the streets of Chernivtsi which presents the reach multinational culture of the city.To organize this, we need to present to volunteers the culture of the city (and interactions between nationalities) seen from the point of view of its citizens.
If you know some good examples of people and places in Chernivtsi (especially those unknown), that should be mention in this project, please do not hesitate! It will be very helpfull.
Best regardsKarolina
