[Cz-L] Ghetto memorial in Chernivtsi

The results of the second round of competition to design a memorial to
Ghetto priosners were announced by the press-center of the city
council. 15 designs were submitted to the second round. The memprial
will be located near Sagaydachny street (Springbrunnengasse).

The first prize (4000 hryvnas) was awarded to the project by architect
Viktor Tkach. The composition consists of a light granite podium and
two dark granite triangles forming a six-pointed star.

The second prize (3000 hryvnas) went to Yaroslav Boyko. His project
located on a granite slab, which is designed as a barbed wire fence
and human hands extended upwards. In the center of the monument is a
bronze stele, with a stainless steel Menorah installed in a David Star
shaped opening.

Vitaly Strilchuk and Natasha Gorbacheva got honorable mentions (1000 hryvnas).
