Liebe Ruth, Thanks for your congratulations, the trip was a big success, may
be the biggest in my long life... also the Internationnal Exhibotion in the
Moja Museum for Modern Arts, curated by Zina Bercovici, with paintings of
some of "my artists" ( Hanna Oren-Huppert from Holland, Ira Dubow, Zina
Bercovici, Bela Shumer, Vera Gellert, Israel )and also from my son Paul, at
the vernissage were 200 persoms. Than I had an interview life at the ORF 1
Radio Vienna, for 35 Min. with question from the public by telephone, and 3
days later a lecture about my books at "Tempo Nuevo", there was no place for
all to sit dawn, many unnown, who heard my interview by radio..they bought
many books, than wanted a "souvenire" ... I laught inside, because there was
a quew....never was a quew for me....and there came over from Switzerland
Peter Elbau, with a present, his book about Bukowina, a very, very
interesting one, a big album, named "Gruss aus der Bukowina" Bukowina
Melange, with stamps and postcards, he has the biggest collection in the
world...and also Ignatz Jawetz fron our list was there....and also my son
from NJ and his family My "Wiener adopted daughter Traudl Feldschuh
introduced me, Inge Maux the famous actress from the Volkstheater and with a
price from the last Venice Festival sang jewish songs and my other"adopted
daughter" Christel Wollmann-Fiedler from Berlin" made a video about the
event. Now I am home and deleted 100 e-mails received in my absance and
phone-calls....
