Re Vera Hacken:The Hackens, Vera and Emanuel were close
friends of my
parents Sidi & Adolf Goldhagen. I too remember them
fondly. Vera was a very
talented artistic person. We also saw them in Munich and
kept in touch in the US.
As a matter of fact, my mother left a bunch of letters
that she received from Vera
detailing their struggle to get established in the NY area.
