[Cz-L] The End of the "Old Theater" of Czernowitz!

Czernowitzers...

We all know the representative Czernowitz City Theater in the heart of town on Theater Square. In the year 1934 this one was named National Theater, national meaning Romanian, while a much more - Jewish - traditional, but outdated theater building outlasted at the corner Schulgasse/Türkengasse - the "Old Theater" of Czernowitz, then redesignated as social democratic worker's home:

But the end of the "Old Theater" of Czernowitz was forseeable, as the municipality decided on the demolition in order to clear the building ground for the projected health insurance headquarters. "Der Tag" is following up a lost cause in it's "today's", i. e. 26.08.1934/2012 edition, p. 2:
