The graves shown on this photograph are of Bernhart -Dov- Barber
and his wife.
They are located in area #2 of the cemetery, close to the street,
to the left of the entrance.
The photograph must have been taken from the street, which is to the east
of the cemetery.
In general on Jewish tombstones the Hebrew inscription is on the east side
and the German, Romanian, English or Russian inscription is on the west
side.
I think that the two trees shown in the photograph have now been cut down.
The volunteers from ASF worked last year and this year in this area and I do
not see either of the trees in the photographs taken during the work-camp.
