This cutting off Mogen David edges was done during Soviet rule.
Nazis ? in Soviet Czernowitz ? Long after the war ?
Taking a hacksaw and working for an hour for the 4 cuts you
must be motivated. At night presumably.
Attributing all this to imaginary Nazis is an easy way out
but not very convincing.

When I visited this place in 2002, Zoya told us something about it but
my memory isn't good : I think that it was a nazi who asked to do
