I believe that there are many, many towns in the East of Europe
 with the photogenic qualities of Czernowitz.
  What makes Cz unique is that it is our hometown.
   Nothing more.
    I can Google up pictures of Lemberg ,Krakow,Stanislaw
   with astonishing effects.
     But I am from Czernowitz.
      These streets are deep in my memory.
        This doesnt make them the National Geographic extreme .
   ( What they did at the Turkish Fountain is atrocious.)
