The first photo shows the house of my father, his parents and
grand-parents, exactly opposite the war memorial, in pink, with the
balcony in the middle, first floor. I wonder if the houses at that time
were really so coloured, or just the postcards. It was no. 5, and I
recall David Glynn saying that his mother had lived at no. 7. These
houses are now under protection of historical monuments. It hurts a
little to see it, thinking of all that happened since.
