Re: [Cz-L] School opposite the Volksgarten

Here I am again after some time, I was away from home.
I went to that school for 4 years it was the liceul de fete Oltea Doamna,in
front of the Volksgarten. I stopped when the Russians came in in 1940 when
I continued for a year at the L3 on the Austriaplatz(a Yiddish School) and
after that I was hometaught by Prof Gershon Segal and some others,till 1943
when I left for Palestine on the ship Maritza, then by train which arrived
through Lebanon in April 1944. Just in case you want some more Info about
the war years. In the war I lived with my parents on the Tuerkengasse for
which you have many pictures on the Ephes Blog.a little higher up.
 Also about the Ort schule, my late husband ,learned a trade and finished
highschool at the Ort and became an engineer of great skills here in
Venezuela.
