On my visits to Czernowitz, in recent years, whenever I go to the
cemetery,
I pass by this market and see people buying vegetables and fruit from
farmers
who come in from the villages, I never looked very carefully, but I
did not see junk
or used objects being sold there.
Second hand items are being sold at another market, somewhere further
south.
I have been at this other market to buy implements for clearing the
cemetery of weeds
and at the Zelena street market to buy watermelon for the volunteers
of SVIT Ukraine.
