Hi Hardy.
Which child in Czernowitz. had never heard about the Boje Boh??? All
children were afraid....if a child was disobedient, it was told...the Boje
bo is coming...and this remind me of the first meeting with my husband...it
was in Putna,I was invited to the birthday of my friend Anny Rosengarten,
married already with Heinz Rosengarten (both were shot in Mihailovka over
the Bug in 1943) We went for a walk, than Heinz, her husband was calling 2
friends, Heinz Hoffmann and and my later husband..It was on a Sunday
morning, the streets were full of snow, colored bluely in the sun...I came
to go with Gottfried Brenner, we spoke about studies, interrupted by
Anschluss in Vienna, , he told me about Prague...So we went slowly, the
others were far before us..Suddenly I said. "Oh, the others are so far away"
and he asked:"Are you afraid to be alone with me? And I answered laughing
"Are you a Boje Boh???..he was 25, I 2o....after 3 weeks we were engaged,
after 2 months married...
Memories brought by Boje Boh..
