[Cz-L] The forename 'Muniu' ?

Czernowitzers...

In a recent post Mimi mentioned the name Muniu Hacken. I am interested
in the given name Muniu as this is the name my GM used to address my
father.

Could it also have been spelled Munju? I presume this is Yiddish and
not Hebrew... What would the likely names in English be for Muniu? Does
Muniu relate back to a Hebrew name?
