AN ADDITION....If you use a magnifying glass then the 7th from the left,front row,has an Austrian cap...and all the rest are completely unarmed and have no military accoutrements,reinforcing my idea that they are likely to be pows or deserters. Cornel

Thank you for your comment. Yes, of course yor are right, but they supported the Austro-Hungarian army at that time, as I learned from Prof. Yvonne Hirdman.
