Let's read "today's", i. e. 23.11.1934/2012 edition of "Der Tag", p. 3/4, and let us discover Sarah Osnath Halevy, "The Celebrated Dancing Actress from Palestine", who is performing at the Scala in Czernowitz:

Finally, we learn from an article of "Der Tag", p. 4, headlined "Nackte Jüdinnen" [Naked Jewish Women], that the appearance of "Naked Jewish Women" during the Alhambra Show from Bucharest at the Czernowitz Theater created a huge scandal. Some ultra nationalist Romanian students apparently had problems with nakedness, as long as it was Jewish. However the effect of the protests were, that the show was booked up!
