[Cz-L] Paul Celan

Tomorrow,the Romanian Cultural Institute in Berlin will show two films
about Celan, and then music on the theme composed by a Romanian/Jewish
composer, Gabriel Irany, and a Romanian one, Cornel Taranu. We have not
seen these films yet, and I wonder if these will/can show a new
aspect of the poet's life and work. Probably very subjective, we'll see.

By the way, my mother's grand-mother, from Schubranetz (spelling?), a
village not far from Czernowitz, had 10 children, all of them who
survived and were fairly healthy, a poor widow who had a small mill,
which she later had to sell. My mother loved her very much and when she
visited her she always brought her butter, cheese and bread from her
father's dairy. (Little Red Riding Hood)
One of her daughters, my grand-mother, had 6 healthy children, having
lost only one in premature birth. There were exceptions.
