Strangely, In searching the JewishGen Burial registers,
I could not find the grave of rabbi Jakob Kahane.
It is interesting that among those who attended the funeral
of Rabbi Kahane, there were no less than three "chief rabbis":
Chief Rabbi Dr. Mark
Chief Rabbi F. Hager
Chief Rabbi Moskowicz
At least in this respect, there is some progress,
now there are only two chief rabbis in Chernivtsi.

Do you or anyone else know how many synagogues and rabbis
there were in Czernowitz in the years 1918 - 1939?.
It would also be interesting to know where all the synagogues were
located?
