The project grants Research scholarships about Bukovina Galician Jewry

Herzl Institute at Haifa University has established a university =
research project, a multi-disciplinary and international research that =
deals with the Jews of Galicia and Bukovina under the rule of the Austro =
- Hungarian - mid-18th century until 1914.

The project seeks to encourage research students to focus their study =
of the Jewish origins of Galicia and Bukovina. For this purpose, it =
offers support for research projects relating to the project such as =
history, literature, Yiddish literature, Jewish Wisdom and more.

Offered two scholarships of 5,000 new shekel for graduate students and =
two scholarships of 10,000 new shekel for doctoral students.

Research students from different universities in the country are =
eligible to apply for these scholarships.

Candidates are requested to send their application to the spring =
Armellini until May 10 2013 to: marmelin_at_univ.haifa.ac.il

Each request must be attached:
