Dear List,

I am attempting to fulfill the last part of a journey to find out what
happened to my Grandfather Gustav Gedaly when he was sent to Siberia in
1944. After our trip to Czernowitz in 2009 we were granted many documents
of his arrest and told of his death. These were facts that were hiding in
documents in the SBU archives in Czernowtiz since 1944.

But my last quest is to find where he is buried. It seems that since 2009
gaining access to information has become more attainable. I know that he
was in Petropovlosk in Siberia until his death. If anyone has an idea of
how I could gain access to prison records and has suggestions for traveling
to Petropovlosk Kalamanche and a guide I would appreciate your help.
