In March 1941, in the villages and Glybocky Storozhetskyi districts of
Chernivtsi region, located along the river Siret, unknown persons agitated
residents go to Romania, claiming that the alleged April 1 will open the
border and everyone can easily access it.
1 April 1941 column People went to the Glybocky executive committee to get
permission to cross the border. Through loudspeakers warned people that the
border is closed and pass them through him, no one will, but nobody listened
to warnings. A huge convoy moved with church crosses and banners, because on
the cross, they say, no one shoot.
