I don't wish anyone to end up in their hospitals to find out what their
medical standards and conditions are like. I've heard that people have to
bring everything, including injections. I know people (with means) who
travel to Israel for treatment.
The standard left with the Jewish doctors.
Even in the Soviet times the seriously ill patients who could afford good
treatment preferred to travel to Moscow or to St Petersburg.
As nice, cultural and cosy as Cz was, it was always a provincial town.
