My friend is a practicing MD who worked at the Regional hospital before retiring last year. She still works part time at a private practice. To make sure that her information is up to date, she called her friends who work in those places to verify.
BTW. The Doctors trained in former USSR are practicing all over the world and are very successful.
It is not the lack of talents, but the lack of money that prevent the needed reform of the Health system.
Sometimes you learn more when you are NOT a part of an official delegation, specially when you deal with former Soviet Republics.
Anyway. I would save the names of the private clinics, in case you need help when you are in Czernowitz.
