Thanks for the sugar factory,
my late husband works there , slavery work from August 1941/ 1944. He was
also taken from the ghetto, with an Romanian "jandarm", soldier,
and I have the original document, authorisation, there is written" The Jew
Brenner Gottfried from the reserved quarter can go to the work in the
Juczka sugar factory over the bridge only with a Christian person.
There was a Romanian manager, Ing Bey, , and during the "Campagne" 2 month,
they worked day and night, nobody could go home. There were many Jewish
engeneers:.Marek Singer, .Pilpel,. Sinnreich, Jancu, the later minister for
Petrol in the Romanian Comunist State. They lived all together in a villa,
without glasses on the windows,,and they put some clothes on the window
against the cold..That was the situation until the Soviet eliberators came..
