As far as I know there is no Popovici statue in Tel Aviv. No street either,
Hardy

Subject: [Cz-L] The Traian Popovici Monument in Tel Aviv?

Czernowitzers...

Under the headline "The Hero, who Rescued 20,000 Souls, is Almost a Stranger
in His Land" the Romanian magazine "Obiectiv" from Suceava is reporting on
Traian Popovici's activities in favour of the Jews from Czernowitz and the
perception of his role in post WW2 Romania:

We learn from this article, that Hardy is one of the Holocuast survivors due
to Traian Popovici's permits, but also that the City of Tel Aviv erected a
monument in rememberance of Traina Popovici. Is that true? Where exactly is
this monument? How does it look like? Please, list members from Israel, come
back with more details!
