I can also recommend Serhiy Bilichenko, based in Lviv, so he is close to Rohatyn, and has great experience guiding Jewish visitors in Galicia and Bukovina. A university graduate in English, he is an outstanding interpreter into Ukrainian, Russian and Polish, can make all local accommodations, access archives, arrange meetings with local Jewish communities and officials. Besides the Wiznitzer family, he has guided photographers, writers and other Jewish visitors to many towns in the region. He is also entrusted with our family's maintenance of the cemetery in my father's birthplace, and we have unofficially adopted him into the Wiznitzer family.
