Thank you for sharing all of this, Harry and Jerome. I only wish my
parents were still alive to be part of this dialog . . . my mother,
Pearl Spiegel Fichman, talked often of her high school friend Paul
Celan and my father, Yehudi "Yuda" Fichman had a closer friendship to
Erich Einhorn. My mother's recollections found a more precisely
delineated home in her memoirs . . . my father's sparser recollections
come more from our family's memories and his Shoah tape.
