I think that the LIceul Aron Pumnul was called Liceul ortodox, because very
few Jewish students were there.and none Jewish teacher , it was thr ukainian
school, but npt "ortodox" the Emanoil Grigirivista, with 99 % Jewish boys
and L 3 with most Jewish teacher and students...
But ask Marianne Hirsch, they are writing a book about schools in Czernowitz
the girls school "Liceul ortodox de Fete"
was numerus nullus for Jewish girls...

Does somebody know something about Petre Solomon? In the film it was
mentioned that Paul Celan learned in "Liceul Ortodox" (Orthodox High
School"). Does anybody know about that school? The scenes with the poultry
were taken in the "Paserea" poultry processing plant in Noua Sulitsa. I have
stills from those scenes.
