Paul Celan studied in Gymnasium "Marele Voevod Mihai" graduating in 1938.
I am pretty sure, as he was classsmate of my father Arthur Madfes and I
have 2 original class pictures I may someday donate to the Paul Celan
Marbach-Archiv.
The pictures are on the ephes website.
May be it was not the only one, and he studied somewhere else before. I
have no idea.
Great film "Duo for Paoloncello & Petronome".
Kind regards from Montevideo
