Dear Mitch,

I was in Suceava, Radautz and region with Sylvie Gsell last year in July
and
we used Sebastien "Gigi" Traciu as our guide. He has a network of other
guides, one of whom was used by some young cousins of mine just last
month -
they were very pleased with both Gigi and his co-worker. Gigi lives in
Suceava and so does his helper. I suggest that you contact Gigi and ask
him
 about this.

Subject: [Cz-L] RADAUTI researcher Radauti Town Hall

I am looking for a researcher who can access the Raduati town hall to
research my family records for ROSENKRANZ, KLEINHOLZ and DANKNER. I hired
a researcher who accessed the Sucovea archives but I was not able to make
any direct connections to my family and I think the key records lie in the
Raduati town hall. The researcher told me that the Town Hall records are
only available to direct family members due to privacy laws - even records
from 1871+. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can access those
records or a researcher to hire? I am in the U.S. and travel is not a
practical option for me. I wrote to the Town Hall via e-mail but have not
received a reply. Thanks in advance for any advice.
Mitch Eisenberg
