This is lower end of Armeniergasse. It ends down in Russischegasse .
You can see the house across. To the right of the house is an open
space. Here Reder had a grave stone workshop with a big shield.
Reder you can read left to right and right to left.
There was also a locksmith called Rittigstein with whose son
I was a friend. One day I rode on a friends bycicle , fell and
broke the spindle of one of the pedals.
In 1945 you couldnt get spares.
Rittigstein welded the spindle in position.
I will always remember.
I am looking for the names of the Rittigsteins for my friend name.
I Googled for assistance and came up with a lot of vital information:
1. Czernowitz lies in the Bukowina on a hill.
2. The river is called the Prut.
3. The Prut comes from the two Cheremoshes and the Klocuczka.
4. The Cheremoshes carry trout and other fish.
5. The Klocucka does not.
But no Rittigsteins .
