Hi,
I just finished the book "My Czernowitz" by Prop. Yavets.
There is a special chapter for the Czernowitz newspapers. Der Tag is not
mentioned.
he mentioned:
Die Algemeinen Zeitung
Czernowitzer Tagblatt
Morgenblatt
Extrablatt
Abendblatt
Die Ostjudische Zeitung
These were newspapers in German language.

can any body give a reason? what was the Der Tag" distribution relative to
the other?
What was the ideology of this news paper - Zionist? left wing? revisionists?

thanks
Avi Raanan

Thank you Edgar for again bringing us "Der Tag".

Among the photographs of the members of the Tzionim Klaliyim
there is a photograph of Dr. Wiesenthal, the most highly regarded
of Czernowitz pediatricians. In this photograph he looks just like
I remember him, even though he did not treat me till 10 years later.
He believed that all illnesses could be cured by the correct diet
and he of course made house-calls.
