[Cz-L] June 1941 Deportations to Siberia - Two Perspectives

Hungry for books, after the dawn of "Der Tag" a few days ago, I just completed the reading - in parallel - of two memoirs, dedicated to the June 1941 deportations from Czernowitz to Siberia, followed by decades of banishment, starvation, diseases, cases of death, humiliations, etc.:

Of course I knew about these deportations to Siberia before, but only now I'm able to roughly comprehend the living conditions of the deportees, "living" being an extenuation of their real situation!
