Re: [Cz-L] Toynbee Halle

I tried to do some "detective" work on the date of setting up of the Toynbee Halle in Czernowitz, and found some sort of controversial info. There was some discussion on the topic by the group in the past, but I found more info on the web. According to Hrenciuc it was inaugurated in 1911 at the initiative of Prof. Leon Kellner. According to Gold, as reported on ehpes, it was built in 1912 at the expense of Anna and Marcus Kisslinger. Not a significant discrepancy.
However, in an article of Die Welt, of 24.02.1902, a Toynbee Halle institution was inaugurated in 1902, two years after that in Vienna. Also, the old picture depicting the Toynbee Halle at its inception, has an inscription: Toynbee Halle around 1900, which corresponds to the article in Die Welt.
Has anybody looked into this discrepancy of a decade? It really is of no significance today, but I am just curious.
