It's my opinion (and only mine!!) that people who want so much to see
Czernowitz should try and do their outmost to go there. Look up their
ancestors' graves in the Jewish graveyard, the homes where their family
lived, see what became from the Temple, visit the reduced "Kultusgemeinde"
(I can't understand why institutions like "Chesed Shoshana" and others can't
move there) , etc. Maybe this will cause the local authorities to do
something to restore the graveyard and preserve relics like the paintings in
the "Alte Shil" Old Shil.

please be patient with me. I received so many individual requests to take
pictures of family homes and tombstones that I'm totaly overwhelmed to
handle them. In some cases I will be able to help in others not. Please
forgive me if I disapoint you. Time is short here and obligations are many.
I will answer every request but even this will take time. Please forgive me.
