As a grand child of a Bukovinian, I want to wish you a very happy birthday and a wonderful new year. In shul this morning, we started the Torah with Berashit... That each year creation begins again. As it should be with you in your new year.

Thanks for starting this list. Thru these postings, I learn so much about my grandma and the family that I never met.

Dear Edgar, Bruce, Jerome, Marianne and members of our list, it is
impossible to answer to everybody,
Many, many thanks to you all for the wonderful greetings you sent. It is a
big honor to receive so many greetings, also from silent members..I do not
know Believe me, it is not at all easy to wear the burden of years, but
with humor, courage and optimism I went all my life through very dangerous
and difficult situations .Many people are asking me>Give me your
receipt...And my advice is always: Keep working, do not stay for hours at
the television, keep your mind and your body acting (my acting is cooking)
I spoke to my youngest grandson(22) this evening by skype and told him about
the congratulations from the list members and explained him about the Ehpes
and than was born in my head the idea, why we are not bring in our list also
the youngest generation, with grand parents from Bukowina ?
