I join in Mimi's experience - working in the archives works in that way.

And as the archives are now in the middle of nowhere - it costs time to take a taxi to the bank .... and back again. The archives take their lunch break from 1 p.m to 2.pm.But there is a recommendable pizzeria round the corner.

Referring to Gabriele's question:

This is the address of the archive and the director who to address to:

Dr. Mr. Zhmundulyak Dmytro Dmytrovych
Director of the State Chernivtsi Regional Archive
20A, Stasiuk Str., Chernivtsi, Ukraine, 58000

He does not speak English or German but Lydia, the friendly lady in the archives speaks or at least understands Rumanian.

 Kind regards,
Marion
