Searching the All-Galicia Database & Gesher Galicia Map Room Online
This lecture will interest those researching in the former
Austro-Hungarian province of Galicia, which today covers eastern Poland
and western Ukraine. The All Galicia Database has 200,000 records from
70 data sources including birth, death, marriage, divorce, school,
voter, and landowner records. These contain names spanning all ethnic
and religious groups, including Jews, Catholics, Ruthenians, Germans,
and Greek Orthodox.
