[Cz-L] Toynbee Hall, a Jewish Educational Institution, Erected a Century Ago in Czernowitz

1. Names, names, names..., 2. a clarification and 3. a new old riddle for Czernowitzers:

1. Names, names, names...: I've updated my posting "Toynbee Hall, a Jewish Educational Institution, Erected a Century Ago in Czernowitz"

by highlighting the names mentioned in the main newspaper articles.

2. Clarification: There was a discrepancy concerning the date of the official inauguration of the Toynbee Hall between "Der Jüdische Volksrat" (15.11.1913) and "Czernowitzer Allgemeine Zeitung" (16.11.1913). Thanks to Dr. Markus Winkler and based on additional sources, we can fix the correct date as Saturday, November 15, 1913.

3. New old riddle: One more update of the above mentioned posting refers to two additional photos showing the Toynbee Hall backyard then (with pupils) and now (without pupils). There are contradictory statements between the location of the "Safa Ivriah" School. The Czernowitz Jewish Museum locates the "Safa Ivriah" on Synagogengasse

as well as most of our fellow members are locating the "Safa Ivriah" on the site of the Toynbee Hall. What is correct and where does the discrepancy come from?
