Dear Edgar,
Thanks for the very interesting news from the Tag,
I am swimming in memories...I knew personally very many of these persons,
so, if you are interested, I can give more information about them..I must
laugh, with one of them I was engaged for 2 months, when I was 18 years
old...
Shabbat Shalom
Hedwig

Czernowitzers...
You will remember, that "Der Tag", the daily Czernowitzer newspaper, ceased
its publication in July 1935/2013. Just in time, still before the year is
out, I'm presenting to you the Society News for the years 1932-1935, 270
society events, marriages, silver and golden weddings, engagements,
decorations, birthdays, jubilees and more, excerpted from "Der Tag":
http://czernowitzdaily.blogspot.de/p/society-news.html
You'll find the events in chronological order at the above mentioned
posting, in alphabetical order at the bottom of this mail or as PDF-file
just here:

This was now the fourth and final part of "The Remains of 'Der Tag'", which
is still available for your research at:
Part 0 - Home:

Part 1 - Archives:

Part 2 - Dead & Gone:

Part 3 - Poetry:

Part 4 - Society News:

"Der Tag" ist over now, the year 2013 is nearly out: Happy New Year to all
of you!
