I googled Roman Vanzuryaka and found a number of references
which allude to him, all of them in Romanian.
It seems that Roman Vanzuryaka was also the head of the Chernivtsi
Oblast (province?)
in 2002. He was then nominated to this post by Oleksandr Turchynov,
who at that time was the interim president of Ukraine.
Oleksandr Turchynov is currently also the speaker and interim president
of the provisional government of Ukraine and it is he, who nominated
Roman Vanzuryaka again to be head of the Chernivtsi Oblast.

Would someone who knows Romanian well, please look
at the various references on Google and see what else of interest
about Roman Vanzuryaka he/she can find.
I stopped speaking Romanian at age eleven, well before I started
reading newspapers.
