Good speech.
Better than the Costa Concordia captain speech when he abandoned ship.

This is what he says Mimi:

In this situation I address these people as human beings. I am ready to
exchange this building for the health and lives of people who are here now.
If your goal is to storm and destroy the building, well, your judge is God.
First you should secure the life and health of people. I will leave the
building of regional government last, and only after I am sure that everyone
has left the building safely. I will not write a resignation letter. The
president of Ukraine appointed me. _______________________________________

Please, if anyone reading this knows Ukrainian reasonably well,
translate for us what the governor was saying.
All I understood was "Ya budu" which means "I will".
It did not sound as if this was said in anger or as a threat,
So I hope that there will be no further violence or destruction in
Czernowitz.
