[Cz-L] Looking for relatives

Dear all,
An old childhoodfriend of mine,Dr. Alina Predescu-Melzer, is looking
for relatives of her Czernowitz father. There is almost nobody left, she
is very keen to find some family members,so I am trying to help and
maybe somebody from our marvellous list can help with data or memories.
Grand-father Melzer was director in a bank in Czernowitz, had studied in
Vienna.
Her father was a GP, Dr. Victor Melzer, also born in Czernowitz, now
deceased.
He had a much elder brother, Muniu(?) Melzer, married to a Hungarian (?)
woman, had 4 sons, all deceased now.
My friend had contact with a cousin of her father, also Melzer, who had
emigrated to Australia, his daughter Ruth nee Liner, now Mote, lives
with her family in Melbourne, but is over 90 and cannot tell much any
more. My friend has a good contact with her son, and that is all.
If anybody knows anything, please inform me.
