Thank you for the article in "Der Tag".My father told me that there
were attacks on Jews (on the Jewish Students from the Hebronia
organization) ,but they were never scarred to defend themselves or
call the Police.That changed after the Attack on the Jiddish Theater
they knew that the Police is not there anymore to defend the Law or
the Jewish population .It definitely was the beginning of the end of
Jewish life in Czernowitz.
